NECC (National Egg Coordination Committee) is India's apex farmer-run body for the commercial egg industry, founded in 1982 and headquartered in Namakkal, Tamil Nadu. Every morning by 6:00 AM IST, NECC publishes the official wholesale NECC egg rate today for 40+ cities across India.

The NECC rate is calculated from the previous day's feed costs (maize and soya — 65–70% of egg production cost), flock availability, market arrivals at anchor wholesale markets, and transport cost indices.
